Bryant Pappas is from Yonkers, New York and finally made his pro debut April 15th in Wichita Kansas.  After years of wanting to turn pro and not being able to because of New York's over regulations & unwanted medicals that would cost him & his family a months salary, he simply could not afford to box in his own state. When Bryant called me and told me how he was a New York Police Officer and that he also helped with the search & rescue at Ground Zero after Sept 11th, I felt it was my duty as an American citizen to help him achieve this goal of being a pro fighter even though the bureaucrats controlling his state would not! This is good for boxing & for Bryant’s love for the sport. I was glad to help him, and hopefully one day Bryant will be able to fight in his home town in front of the people he has sworn to protect and serve. It’s sad that he can put his life on the line everyday in a place where he can’t even box because of the bureaucrats controlling his state! Maybe when we help countries like Iraq achieve freedom, we can start cleaning out the oppressors of freedom here in our own country!

Good job Bryant winning your pro debut! Most of all you showed the true American spirit of overcoming the bureaucratic laws that were keeping from your goal of being a pro boxer! I was glad to help you and I am proud to have you as fellow club fighter & a fellow American! THAT'S FREEDOM BROTHER!!

Your friend and fellow American Clubfighter...
